Who We Are

New Rebellion Pty Ltd (ABN 19 688 435 985) operates newrebellion.network and all services hosted under it, including Lens (our marketing audit tool at newrebellion.network/lens). When this policy says "we", "us" or "New Rebellion" it means New Rebellion Pty Ltd. We are based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

What This Policy Covers

This policy covers all data collected through newrebellion.network, its subdomains and any tools hosted under the domain. Lens has its own supplementary privacy policy that provides additional detail specific to that tool. Where both policies apply, this policy governs the general relationship and the Lens policy governs data handling specific to the audit tool.

What We Collect

Information you provide

/Your name, email address and any other details you submit via contact forms, call booking pages or the Lens audit tool
/Business information including website URL, industry, marketing channels, budget signals and goals
/Files you upload during a Lens session (analytics exports, spreadsheets, CSV or JSON files)

Information collected automatically

/We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to collect standard web analytics: pages visited, referral source, device type, browser, country and interactions with CTAs and content
/Server logs maintained by our hosting provider (Vercel) may record IP addresses, request timestamps and user agent strings
/We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking

Information from third-party integrations (Lens only)

/If you connect your Google Analytics, Search Console or Google Ads account during a Lens session, we pull read-only data to generate your report. See the Lens privacy policy for full details on OAuth scopes, data retention and Limited Use compliance

We do not sell your information. We do not use your business data to train AI models. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate newrebellion.network. Each processes data as described:

/Vercel hosts the website and may log standard server information (IP addresses, request timestamps)
/Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) collects anonymised usage data about how the site is used
/Calendly handles call bookings under their own privacy policy
/Anthropic (Claude API) processes Lens conversations and generates audit reports
/Upstash (Redis) stores Lens audit reports and temporary session data
/Zapier processes webhooks when you send a message or share a report via Lens
/Clearbit is used to display your business logo on audit reports (public logo lookup by domain only)

Cookies and Local Storage

The main newrebellion.network site uses Google Analytics cookies for standard web analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Lens uses browser session storage and local storage (not cookies) to maintain your conversation and allow session recovery. This data lives in your browser only and is cleared when you close the tab or clear your browser data. Google Analytics may set cookies as part of standard web analytics within Lens as well.

Data Retention

/Website analytics are retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months)
/Lens audit reports are stored for 30 days so you can revisit them via your report link, then automatically deleted
/Lens conversation datalives in your browser's storage. Not stored on our servers beyond what is included in the generated report
/Google OAuth tokens (used for GA4, Search Console and Ads connections in Lens) expire and are automatically deleted within 24 hours
/Uploaded files are processed in memory during your session and not permanently stored
/Contact form submissions and messages are retained as long as necessary to respond and manage the relationship

Data Security

We use industry standard security measures to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Server-side data is stored in access-controlled environments. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

Our hosting and third-party services may process data outside Australia, including in the United States. By using our services you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions. We ensure all service providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. If you are located in the EU or UK, you may also have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing.

Children

Our services are intended for business professionals and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the website.
